About a month ago, the teens embarked on their first ever "Teen Mission Week" and they did a wonderful job showing up and serving our community. But it largely goes unnoticed as meaningful work often does. That's why I'd like to point out that this week, the Pregnancy Center of Lapeer sent out their monthly newsletter thanking our team for the work they did during missions week. We appreciate their recognition and gratitude! You can view it here.
This week we had more-than-usual hospital admissions that kept us on our toes. Thank you for faithfully praying for one-another. Here are the latest updates that we have:
Bob Rogers:
Admitted to the hospital this past Sunday with some chest pains and other issues going on. He was discharged on Thursday, August 15 and is now home recovering with some appointments in the future. We are providing a meal train while he recovers over the next week. If you'd like to help with that, please see our Facebook group or contact Lynn Ludwig or the church office.
Amanda Ludwig:
She was admitted this past Monday to Detroit Children's Hospital with some heart issues. She was discharged on Wednesday and is doing much better.
We have multiple ways you can get a prayer request to us:
We want to respect your privacy but we also want to pray with you for whatever concern is going on in your life. These are the best ways to let us know that we have your permission to tell the church what's going on in your life.
Over the last several weeks, we've had a few projects completed at the church.
