Summary of Job

The Rising Christian Church is seeking an individual to begin to build a children's ministry program. We're looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves kids, and who, more than anything, wants to see the gospel go forth into the next generation. You will have the opportunity to build something new. That's exciting, but also challenging.

This is a part time position with a commitment of one year.

Goals:

  • Bring organization, stability and improvements to Rising's Children's Ministry.
  • Create opportunities on Sunday morning and during the week for children to know God and know each other.
  • Set the foundation for a growing children's ministry.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee volunteer scheduling
  • Oversee curriculum and it's implentation
  • Research and execute ways to improve the Sunday Morning Children's Program
  • Assess and train current volunteers
  • Recruit new volutneers
  • Develop and execute 4 children and/or family focused events/outings (1 per quarter) that encourage outreach and community

Capabilities

  • Able to learn and use cloud based applications
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Self-starter and able to work without direct supervision
  • Willing to integrate into Rising Church and it's community including placing membership at Rising Church
  • Willing to complete a background check

Term: 1 Year

Time Per Week: 15 hours

Pay: $15.00
